CEP 810: Website vs. Blog

Well one main thing that I like to think of when comparing traditional websites and blogs is that, websites have more depth, than blogs. Meaning that the most basic blog is what I like to think of is more like a journal. People tend to update, post or write on the blog more frequently, than updating a website, and also make blogs more personal. . Websites tend to have more information about what ever product, service, person, etc, they are about. Although blogs also can have more than one page, websites always have multiple pages, and are rarely updated as much as blogs. Although the new generation of blogs have the power to be design, coded, and look like websites, and more and more blogs are becoming the easier way to websites.

  1. Loved the last point! I agree, I think that we will be seeing more blogs published than web sites, in the not too distant future. No need for learning how to ftp files to a remote server=8-)
